How does this tool work?
The image-to-text tool uses OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology to read text from images:

- Choose language & mode: Select text language (Arabic, English, or mixed) and appropriate segmentation mode.
- Extract: Click "Start Text Extraction" and wait for the result.
- Download: Copy the text or download it as a TXT file.

Accuracy depends on image clarity and lighting quality. For best results, use high-resolution images free of noise. The tool supports Arabic and English with high accuracy, and you can enable "Enhance image resolution" for more precision.
No. All processing happens locally in your browser using Tesseract.js. Your image never leaves your device.
On the first run, the browser downloads Tesseract's language files (which may be large). After that, they're cached in the browser for faster subsequent operations. Enabling "Enhance image resolution" also increases processing time slightly.
